CM Punk’s Next WWE Appearance Confirmed

CM Punk WWE Raw

WWE fans won’t have to wait too long to see CM Punk.

WWE is heading to Las Vegas on February 8th for a huge press conference to hype WrestleMania 40. It’s widely expected that the confusion around The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes will be cleared up at the event as the trio comes face to face.

With the event just hours away, Rhodes shared on social media that he’d “made his decision.”

In the lead-up to the press conference, The Rock appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and teased a heel turn as he called out Rhodes’ fans.

It’s now been announced that CM Punk, Big E, Michael Cole, and McAfee will be on hosting duties.

CM Punk had been due to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 before suffering a triceps injury at the Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, Big E remains out of action after breaking his neck back in March 2022.

CM Punk Not Heading For New WWE Role

Despite heavy speculation, CM Punk will not be taking up a position at the announce desk while he recovers from surgery.

The rumours around Punk kicked into a new gear when it was revealed that Booker T would be taking a break from NXT for medical reasons. However, the spot will be filled by Byron Saxton.
