CM Punk’s AEW Comeback Announced “In The Coming Days”
CM Punk has not been seen in AEW for almost nine months but now the star is set for a big return with the revelation from the company coming in the next few days.
Punk let loose at the post-All Out press conference back in September 2022 as he took aim at several of his colleagues before he was involved in a physical fight backstage with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.
Now all signs are pointing to Punk returning to the company this summer with AEW set to launch a new Saturday night show of which Punk will be the centerpiece. While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, Andrew Zarian has now put a timeframe on when such an announcement is likely to take place:
“Expect CM Punk’s return to AEW to be announced in the coming days.”
All eyes will be on the Warner Bros Discovery upfronts which is where the new Saturday night Collision show is expected to be announced. Tony Khan noted that following whatever is announced by Warner on the 17th of May, will be followed up on live on Dynamite – which is where the return of CM Punk could be confirmed for the first time.
