CM Punk & Roman Reigns’ WWE WrestleMania 42 Opponents Revealed
WWE planted the seeds for CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ future rivalries at Survivor Series: WarGames.
The babyface team, also including The Usos and Cody Rhodes, lost to the heel team of Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre.
In the closing minutes of the bout, a masked man appeared and took out Punk by hitting a Seth Rollins-like stomp before disappearing into the crowd.
Breakker then hit a spear on The Second City Saint and won it for his team via pinfall.
After the match, Reigns and Punk shook hands and acknowledged each other’s efforts despite the outcome.
Reigns hoped to achieve the same result with Rhodes, though the American Nightmare appeared confrontational, as the duo exchanged words.
Roman Reigns then said that it was the last time they ever teamed up together, to which Cody Rhodes nodded.
With WarGames now in the rearview mirror, Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net has revealed the WrestleMania 42 setup.

WrestleMania 42 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18 & 19.
CM Punk Predicts John Cena’s Final Opponent
At Survivor Series: WarGames, John Cena wrestled in his last premium live event, with one appearance left now in his retirement career.
In his penultimate bout, Cena lost the Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio after Liv Morgan’s interference.
Meanwhile, the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine Cena’s final opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII has reached its business end.
On the upcoming RAW episode, Gunther will face Solo Sikoa, whereas Jey Uso will take on LA Knight.
CM Punk recently appeared on the Up and Adams Show, where he predicted Gunther as the 17-time World Champion’s final opponent.
