CM Punk Reveals Why Seth Rollins Hates Him

Seth Rollins CM Punk on WWE Raw.

Seth Rollins does not like CM Punk and has let everyone know it since before Punk dared to set foot back in WWE.

Seth Rollins branded CM Punk a cancer before Punk was fired by AEW for his part in a backstage fight with Jack Perry at All In and ultimately returning to WWE at Survivor Series.

Rollins was plainly not happy about Punk’s arrival although this has played into a storyline between the two men with them looking increasingly likely to be on a collision course for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins Feels Like A Little Brother Says CM Punk

Speaking to Jackie Redmond on Jackie’s NHL Show, CM Punk was asked why he thinks Seth Rollins is so hostile towards him and says it could be something akin to sibling rivalry:

Hmmm. Uhh, because I have been everywhere he has been and he hasn’t been everywhere I’ve been. We’re probably too similar, that’s honestly the biggest thing I can think of. We’re very similar. The difference is, I can talk about my career, and not have to mention him. He cannot talk about his career without mentioning me.

I understand where he’s coming from, I understand. I think he’s always felt like he was the little brother. I’ve never tried to treat him that way, I’ve always tried to treat him like a peer, but some people you just can’t reach. He hates me. He hates me. Like Colorado Avalanche and Red Wings.

Punk’s fight with Jack Perry that led to his AEW departure was back in the spotlight recently with a fresh eyewitness describing blood being spilled during the altercation between CM Punk and Perry.
