CM Punk Picks WWE Brand
CM Punk says he’s home in WWE and now he’s announced exactly what show he’ll be appearing on every week.
CM Punk shocked the world when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series after almost a decade away from the company. His return came less than three months after CM Punk was fired by AEW for his part in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In.
On Monday Night Raw in Cleveland, Ohio CM Punk declared which WWE brand he’ll be appearing on going forward. Punk revealed that his new home was Raw and he’ll be part of the red brand moving forward. That news was not received well by World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins who marched to the ring to confront Punk.
Seth Rollins Incensed By CM Punk
Seth Rollins marched to the ring to tell Punk not to call WWE or Raw his home after he walked out of the company in 2014. Rollins told Punk he hated him and that he was just waiting for him to self-destruct but if he still had anything left in him, he could enter the Royal Rumble, win it, and challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Punk certainly seemed keen on that idea as he then declared for the Royal Rumble match meaning that he’ll join Cody Rhodes and 28 other stars in the men’s Rumble match on January 27.
