CM Punk Heading Outside WWE For Next Project
CM Punk has taken up a new project outside WWE.
Punk is living his life to the fullest, not only in WWE but outside the promotion, too. He’s enjoying his time as the World Heavyweight Champion in WWE and also challenging himself with new non-wrestling-related projects.
He recently lent his voice to Zootopia 2 and was also a part of the upcoming movie Night Patrol. Now, he’s set to work in a new role in a film, but this time as a director.
CM Punk Will Direct A New Film
Speaking in a new interview with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, CM Punk revealed that he had recently been offered the chance to direct a movie, and he decided to accept, despite it feeling “unknown and scary.”
Punk said:
It’s been offered. It’s one of those things, a lot like writing comic books or fighting in the UFC that, it was offered to me and it’s kind of unknown and scary, so now I have to do it. I think the VHS series is a pretty good way to get my feet wet in that regard.
It’s definitely something that is more than likely going to happen in the next year. I got to, it got offered to me, and I went ‘what why me?’ ‘Why not?’ Okay, now I’ve gotta do this.
Punk was in action in this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, which went live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on January 5.
He defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker of The Vision.
Breakker was a tough nut to crack, but Punk managed to walk out of the arena still the champion.
