CM Punk Wrestles First WWE Match In 10 Years
CM Punk has finally competed once again in a WWE ring as he completes his return to the company after a decade away.
CM Punk shocked the world when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series after walking out of the company back in January 2014. The return came less than 3 months after CM Punk was publicly fired by AEW for his part in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In.
In the traditional post-Christmas WWE show at the company’s spiritual home of Madison Square Garden, CM Punk laced up his boots for the first time since defeating Samoa Joe in Wembley Stadium to take on Dominik Mysterio. Punk picked up the victory with a GTS which gave him his first WWE singles win since defeating Billy Gunn on the January 20th, 2014 edition of Raw.
