CM Punk has paid a slightly strange tribute to Paul Heyman.

On March 4th it was announced that Paul Heyman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in Philadelphia. Of course, Heyman has a long association with the city given it was the home of ECW.

After rising to fame as an on-screen character in the 1980s, Heyman has managed the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns while with WWE.

Upon hearing the news, Punk took to Instagram to share a photo of Heyman in his younger days (it was actually actor Michael Keaton) while offering his congratulations. He followed that up with another message alongside a photo of Lex Luthor.

Punk is currently out of action after suffering a torn triceps at the Royal Rumble, but many fans have called for him to induct Heyman into the Hall of Fame.

CM Punk is due to appear on the Raw before WrestleMania 40.

CM Punk Played Role In AEW Star Leaving Collision

Following his departure from AEW in September, it was reported that CM Punk was responsible for QT Marshall being removed from Collision. The report noted that Punk “didn’t want Marshall to be a part of Collision and didn’t see QTV as a productive part of Powerhouse Hobbs’ presentation.

Meanwhile, speaking in a new interview, QT Marshall confirmed the star was involved, although the decision was more of a collaboration.
