CM Punk Attends WWE Performance Center
CM Punk is staying busy.
Since returning to WWE at Survivor Series, CM Punk has been putting in the hard yards. The star appeared on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Deadline all before finally becoming part of Monday Night Raw going forward.
However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t also putting in the work behind the scenes. Punk was backstage for the December 12th episode of NXT, hanging out with talent and offering advice.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, that CM Punk headed to the Performance Center on December 13th, and is “training and holding court” with NXT talents.
CM Punk Returning To Madison Square Garden
Although Punk has been all over the WWE map, he’s yet to return to the ring, however, he will be back in action before the end of 2023. It’s been announced that CM Punk will take on Dominik Mysterio at Madison Square Garden on December 26th. The Boxing Day event at ‘The Garden’ has been a WWE tradition for several years.
The match will be Punk’s first of any description since defeating Samoa Joe at AEW All in on August 27th, while it will be his first in a WWE ring since the 2014 Royal Rumble match.
For those keeping score, Punk hasn’t wrestled at a WWE ‘house show’ since January 19th, 2014.
