Chris Jericho Sets Sights On More Major Matches In Japan
Chris Jericho has revealed that he still has a bucket list of opponents he wishes to battle in Japan.
The legendary Canadian has seen and done it all across the globe in an outstanding 33 year career, including stints in Japan with the likes of WAR and NJPW.
The former AEW Heavyweight Champion has once again tasted victory in the Far East after defeating fellow AEW star Konosuke Takeshita at DDT Ultimate Party in Tokyo on November 12th.
Speaking in a post-match press conference, Jericho revealed that he still had a list of men he wishes to face off against in Japan, including Tetsuya Endo, Kota Ibushi and Minoru Suzuki:
“If you’re talking about other wrestlers in DDT, Endo, I thought he was very good tonight. I was very impressed with him. I still think there’s a Jericho-Ibushi match that we could have in Japan. I think the biggest Japanese wrestler never faced is Suzuki. I know he wants to do it and I want to do it.
Once again, he’s a lot like my thoughts on Takeshita. I don’t want to have a match just on a random dynamite I want to have a big main event match in Ryogoku, in the Tokyo Dome, somewhere big, and I want to do it in Japan.”
