Backstage Update On Potential New Member Of Chelsea Green’s WWE Faction
Chelsea Green is pushing for an addition to her “Secret Hervice” stable on the WWE main roster.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion is a busy woman. She usually is on the SmackDown brand, but she has also recently wrestled on Raw, and even had a run in NXT that led to a PLE match as well.
At WWE NXT Heatwave, Chelsea Green and her fellow Canadian, Ethan Page, who is the NXT North American Champion, teamed up to beat Tavion Heights & Tyra Mae Steele in about 10 minutes, with Green pinning Steele to win the match for her team.
Since the feud was about Page being an egotistical Canadian who was holding the NXT North American Title, it made sense to have Green team up with him since she’s a Canadian and a great heel like Page is. After Green and Page were paired together, many people remarked about how great their chemistry was.
Chelsea Green recently spoke to USA Today about Page and how he definitely warrants a spot on the main roster.
[Page] absolutely deserves everything in wrestling that he’s ever got, and now I feel like it’s my job to make sure the main roster sees him as a main roster talent. I also hope that he stays with us. I think that we’ve learned so much from him. He’s learned so much from us, and we have just made kind of the perfect unit.
Considering Ethan Page has been a pro wrestler for over 15 years, he is one of the most experienced wrestlers in NXT and likely does have a future on the main roster.
Chelsea Green Pitching For Ethan Page Joining WWE Main Roster
Ethan Page lost a non-title Flag Match to Tavion Heights on NXT, which could lead to Heights getting the NXT North American Title. There was no sign of Chelsea Green or her Secret Hervice group (Alba Fyre & Piper Niven) on the show.
Behind the scenes, Fightful Select reports that Page joining the main roster has been speculated, but they have not heard of any firm plans for a move.
Fightful added that Chelsea Green has been actively pitching to have Page moved to the WWE main roster so that he can work with her and the Secret Hervice group. The report closed by noting that Green has “repeatedly pitched” for Page to join Green and her group.
