Chelsea Green Faces New WWE Title Challenge

Chelsea Green might have claimed one match never happened but it did and now she’s going to have to put her WWE Women’s US Title on the line.

Recently, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven took a trip to NXT where they faced the impressive tag team of Zaria and Sol Ruca. Despite the experience advantage, Ruca was able to pin Green to pick up the victory for her team. And it’s safe to say the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion was not happy.

However, the match was declared to never have happened. While Piper Niven after the bout Chelsea Green ran into her former manager Mr Stone. Mr Stone is now General Manager Ava’s assistant and he seemed eager to help his former client out. Mr Stone was outraged that he hadn’t been informed of Green’s appearance ahead of time and used this as the reason that the match simply never happened.

Chelsea Green Forced To Take On Sol Ruca

Unfortunately for Green, the match definitely did happen though and thanks to pinning the champion Sol Ruca now has a title match in her future. At NXT Roadblock it was announced that Chelsea Green will defend her WWE Women’s United States Championship against Sol Ruca on the March 18 edition of NXT.

This will be Ruca’s first title shot at a WWE main roster championship since she debuted for the company back in 2022.
