Charlotte Flair Set For Huge Match Following WWE Return
Charlotte Flair will make a big impact when she returns.
Top WWE star Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December after suffering a serious knee injury during a match with Asuka. Mid-way through the bout, Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus and quickly underwent surgery.
Incidentally, Asuka also underwent surgery in 2024 after battling through a knee issue for several weeks.
At the time it was reported Flair would be back in around nine months, but that timeframe eventually changed. In the most recent update on her status in September, it was reported that Charlotte Flair won’t wrestle again in 2024.
Charlotte Flair Heading To WrestleMania
While it’s unclear exactly when the star will be back in the ring, WWE is making big plans for her eventual return. According to a new report on WrestleVotes Radio via Backstage Pass, Flair will be involved in a major match at WrestleMania.
“Another WrestleMania question, that’s a good one. I haven’t heard too much…about potential women’s matches at WrestleMania. I do know that Charlotte Flair is going to be in the fold and at the top of any women’s wrestling card that they present for WrestleMania.”
The Queen is the most decorated female WWE star in history, having won 14 main roster Women’s Titles, the NXT Women’s Title twice, as well as the Royal Rumble and tag team gold.
