Carmelo Hayes Thinks NXT Rivalry Will Headline WrestleMania
The Usos vs. The New Day, John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens, some WWE rivalries last for years and now NXT star Carmelo Hayes thinks he could be part of the next big one that does.
Carmelo Hayes will be part of NXT Stand & Deliver where he challenges Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship. Despite Breakker’s dominant run as champion, many fans are predicting a possible huge win for Hayes as Breakker’s future might well lie on WWE’s main roster.
Speaking to Under The Ring, however, no matter what happens on Stand & Deliver and wherever each of the stars ends up imminently, Carmelo Hayes thinks he and Bron Breakker will headline WrestleMania against each other one day:
“What they can expect is to see two guys who really, in the next five years, are going to be the future of WWE. This is a match in its infancy, a rivalry in its infancy that will headline a WrestleMania one day.
“The limits are just limitless between our feud as far as what we can do.”
