Bryan Danielson To Join Unlikely Trio At AEW All In

Bryan Danielson with hands raised on AEW Dynamite

Bryan Danielson will make history AEW All In.

On AEW Dynamite in Calgary, Bryan Danielson defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page to win the Men’s Owen Hart Cup. The victory means that The American Dragon will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Title at AEW All In London on August 25th.

On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that at All In, Danielson will become one of only four men to have competed at Wembley Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Arena Mexico, and the Tokyo Dome.

The other three men to have wrestled in all four legendary venues are Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, and perhaps more surprisingly, John Tenta, perhaps best known for his WWE run as Earthquake.

“Danielson, if he doesn’t get hurt before Wembley, will join only Jericho, Moxley and John Tenta as people who have worked Wembley Stadium, Madison Square Garden, the Tokyo Dome and Arena Mexico.

“The hard one is Wembley Stadium since there have only been two shows there in history.”

Not wanting to be upstaged, one of Danielson’s rivals, Will Ospreay, took to social media to say he’ll “need to go to Mexico soon.” The Aerial Assassin already ticked MSG and the Tokyo Dome off the list, and last year he defeated Chris Jericho at All In.

Bryan Danielson Doesn’t Want To Be AEW World Champion

While he is heading into the main event of All In, Bryan Danielson has made it clear that he doesn’t want to win the AEW World Championship. Before the 2024 edition of Forbidden Door, Danielson explained that he doesn’t think it’s a spot he should be in, pointing to the difficulties of regularly main eventing pay-per-views, something he doesn’t think his body could sustain.
