Surprise Winner As Bron Breakker Clashes With Sami Zayn At WWE Money In The Bank

Bron Breakker brought the fight to Sami Zayn at Money In The Bank as they clashed over the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Since being drafted to Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker has looked mightily impressive as he dominates the brand. Breakker has seemingly sent Ricochet on his way out of WWE after taking apart the former Intercontinental Champion and at Money In The Bank, his sights were set on gold.

On Raw in Indianapolis, Breakker faced off with Ludwig Kaiser but ended up losing via disqualification after Sheamus interfered to take out Kaiser. Breakker ended up laying out both men but was far from done for the evening.

Bron Breakker was seen backstage pounding on General Manager Adam Pearce’s door with Breakker ranting to Pearce about the interference as he told him he wanted a title match. Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn then appeared behind Breakker and offered him a title match anywhere, anytime. That match was made for Money In The Bank as Breakker looked to win the first main roster WWE gold of his career.

Sami Zayn Beats Bron Breakker

At Money In The Bank, Bron Breakker was the heavy favourite going into the match but in the end, it was the wily veteran who escaped with his gold in his home country as Sami Zayn’s fourth reign as Intercontinental Champion continued.
