Bron Breakker Captures WWE Gold At SummerSlam

The rise of Bron Breakker is well underway in WWE and now he’s put his name in the history books as he claims the biggest win of his career at SummerSlam.

Since being drafted to Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker has looked hugely impressive as he dominates the brand. Breakker has seemingly sent Ricochet on his way out of WWE after taking apart the former Intercontinental Champion and at Money In The Bank, his sights were set on gold.

In Toronto, Bron Breakker was the heavy favourite going into the match but in the end, it was the wily veteran who escaped with his gold in his home country as Sami Zayn’s fourth reign as Intercontinental Champion continued. But that has not put Breakker off trying to capture the title.

On Raw in Green Bay, Breakker faced off with Ilja Dragunov in a number one contender’s match for Sami Zayn’s title. Breakker picked up the win with a huge mid-air spear that left Dragunov sprawled on the canvas and the referee ringing the bell for the stoppage.

Bron Breakker Wins WWE SummerSlam Debut

At SummerSlam, Sami Zayn threw everything he had at Breakker but the rise of the former two-time NXT Champion is proving inevitable. In the end, two massive back-to-back spears were enough for Bron Breakker to put Sami Zayn away to claim his first title on the WWE main roster.
