Brodie Lee Honoured By New AEW Collaboration

Brodie Lee is acknowledged as the greatest TNT Champion in AEW history and now the company continue to recognise the late star three and a half years after his death.

Brodie Lee passed away in December 2020 at the age of just 41. The wrestling world was collectively shocked at the news that Lee had been in hospital for several weeks due to a serious lung illness that he never recovered from.

During his nine months in AEW, Brodie Lee made a name for himself as The Dark Order’s leader and he famously decimated Cody Rhodes to capture the TNT Title in a match that remains one of the most shocking in company history.

Prior to joining AEW, Lee was best known as Luke Harper in WWE where he was most famously part of The Wyatt Family alongside Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan.

AEW & Reebok Working On Brodie Lee Shoe

Now, after the success of AEW’s partnership with Reebok which saw The Young Bucks get their own shoe, the two companies are working together again to honour Brodie Lee.

The AEW x Reebok Classic Leather Brodie Lee will be released on July 1st 2024 with Sole Retriever providing more information on what fans can expect from the shoe:

The AEW x Reebok Classic Leather Brodie Lee combines suede and leather on the upper, with most of the sneaker covered in sleek black hues. Purple accents on the heel and tongue tag add a vibrant contrast, symbolizing Brodie Lee’s connection to The Dark Order.

AEW branding appears on an added tag on the lateral collar, while the tongue tag showcases The Dark Order’s logo. Inside, the tongue features a touching tribute to The Exalted One, a nickname for Brodie Lee. The midsole combines purple and grey tones, with a special nod to Brodie Lee near the heel, and the outsole matches the black and purple theme, completing the look.

Brodie Lee’s partner in The Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt’s legacy continued in WWE as Wyatt Sicks brought destruction to Monday Night Raw in their long-awaited debut.
