A WWE veteran has fallen victim to Brock Lesnar on SmackDown.

At SummerSlam, John Cena’s 17th world championship reign ended at Cody Rhodes’ hands. After the match, the Leader of the Cenation was surprised by the shocking return of Brock Lesnar after two years. The Beast Incarnate unexpectedly took out Cena with a devastating F-5 before leaving the ring.

After going absent for a few weeks, Lesnar returned last week on SmackDown during Cena’s United States Championship match against Sami Zayn. After pulling out the referee, he F5’ed Zayn. The Beast Incarnate then delivered two F5s to Cena.

As he walked backstage, Lesnar sent a message to Cena that he would see him at Wrestlepalooza. WWE then officially announced that the two legends would go head-to-head at the upcoming premium live event.

Brock Lesnar F5s R-Truth On WWE SmackDown

While John Cena appeared on SmackDown for the last time on his retirement tour last Friday, Brock Lesnar kicked off tonight’s episode of the show. However, before he spoke, The Beast Incarnate was interrupted by R-Truth. The 60-time champion welcomed Lesnar back and told him that although he was once scared of him, he was no longer so.

Lesnar responded by asking Truth who he was, telling him that he had better have a good reason to interrupt him. The wrestling veteran told him that his name is R-Truth and he was there because Lesnar has been disrespecting John Cena for the past 25 years. The two superstars had a back-and-forth promo, with Lesnar repeatedly asking Truth who he was and why he was there. The 53-year-old replied that he was there to defend his older brother and childhood hero.

The former 24/7 Champion also warned Lesnar that “Super Cena” was coming for him and would not be running from The Beast, but “feeding” on him. Lesnar ended the segment by taking out Truth with a brutal F-5.
