Britt Baker Worries That Adam Cole Can Be “Too Trusting”
Britt Baker has expressed some thoughts on her boyfriend Adam Cole’s current situation in AEW ahead of All In.
The AEW power couple Adam Cole and girlfriend Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. have a busy night on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
There will be a four-way match for the AEW Women’s Title with Hikaru Shida defending the championship against Britt Baker, Toni Storm and Saraya, who is the only one in the match that hasn’t held the AEW Women’s Title. Saraya, however, will have the home country advantage since she’s from England.
Adam Cole has two matches at All In since he’s teaming with MJF against Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team Titles on the Zero Hour pre-show. Several hours later, Adam Cole challenges “best friend” MJF for the AEW World Title in the main event. That’s a match that AEW Owner/CEO Tony Khan has called the “most important match in AEW history.”
Britt Baker Feels That Adam Cole May Be Trusting MJF Too Much
Over the last two months during the build to the MJF-Cole match, there have been plenty of teases between both guys possibly turning on the other, but it hasn’t happened yet.
While talking to DAZN, Baker thinks her boyfriend Cole has a flaw that he can be a bit too trusting at times.
“I think one of Adam’s fatal flaws is that he’s too trusting. He’s too optimistic, he’ sees the best in everything and everyone and that’s wonderful, I wish I was more like that, but you also have to be realistic and realize that there are giant pieces of s**t out there that disguise themselves in a Burberry scarf.”
“On the other side, what a better way to get all the TV time in the world than to put yourself with MJF? I’m very happy for him in that sense because MJF’s face is all over AEW, if that means that Adam’s face is all over AEW too, I support that but I just want him to have his guard up at all times.”
AEW All In is available to watch on pay-per-view providers everywhere.
