Bray Wyatt Unexpectedly Pulled From Madison Square Garden Show

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was scheduled to be a featured part of WWE’s Madison Square Garden show in New York City, but the star ended up being pulled from the event.

When WWE returns to its spiritual home of The Garden, the company pulls out all the stops to put on as big a show as they can for the fans in New York.

On the 12th of March, a Road to WrestleMania Supershow took place in MSG with Austin Thoery headlining alongside Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage match for the WWE United States Championship. One match that had been advertised didn’t end up taking place as Bray Wyatt was pulled from the show for unspecified reasons.

Wyatt had been due to compete in a Royal Rumble rematch and take on LA Knight in a Lights Out match but Wyatt ended up being replaced by Braun Strowman, who defeated Knight in a standard singles bout. Bray Wyatt has only had one televised match since his return but had been competing regularly on live events with his last match coming on the 26th of February.

Bray Wyatt is currently involved in a feud with Bobby Lashley on WWE television as the two former WWE Champions look to be heading towards a huge collision at WrestleMania 39. That match is not yet official but Wyatt had originally been pencilled in to face Brock Lesnar on The Grandest Stage of Them All but Lesnar reportedly refused that bout.
