Bray Wyatt Mask Maker Reacts To “The Fiend” Return Rumor

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt’s return continues to add more layers of intrigue to it as his mask maker made an interesting comment about what the man was supposed to do with the character.

Bray Wyatt was one of the first wrestlers released by Vince McMahon to return to WWE once Triple H took over creative.

Wyatt’s return in late 2022 was met with uproarious approval, but the character’s direction since then has been questionable at best. He had a bizarre match with LA Knight at the Royal Rumble in January and seemed to have a completely new character in that match.

However, that doesn’t appear to have been the original plan. According to Jake Skudder of Fight Fans, it was rumored that the Fiend character was supposed to return to capitalize on Wyatt’s popularity during his return.

“I’ve recently been told that Bray Wyatt was ‘pushed’ by WWE to go back to The Fiend gimmick just after the Royal Rumble and the discussions of that happening have started again in the last month or so.”

Makeup effects artist and WWE collaborator Jason Baker worked on masks for Bray Wyatt and addressed the report with this comment.

“That might be a little difficult considering that all of the mask molds were destroyed last year…”

Bray Wyatt has not been seen in WWE in several months and his current situation with the company is unknown.
