Braun Strowman is a big fan of one particular Monday Night Raw star.
Although he’s been out of action for much of 2023, Braun Strowman knows what it takes to get to the top. The Monster Among Men won the Universal Title at WrestleMania 36 from Goldberg, before losing the gold to Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam that August.
Speaking in a new interview with Sportskeeda, Strowman said he’d like to see Chad Gable follow in his footsteps and get a chance to become World Champion. Gable has enjoyed a fine 2023 earning praise across the board for his series of matches against Gunther.
“Honestly, someone that I see world championship caliber in is Chad Gable,” Strowman stated.
“If we’re gonna say underrated and stuff like that, that would be, if I have to nail it down, it would be Chad Gable. He has all the tools, he can talk, he’s got the look. He can go like nobody else.
When it really boils down to it, he’s an unbelievable human being, so I would love to see him get a shot at the big gold because he deserves it.”
When Did Braun Strowman Last Wrestle?
Braun Strowman hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Ricochet on the May 1st episode of Monday Night Raw. On the show, the pair defeated Chad Gable and Otis, after being drafted to the red brand.
The former World Champion then disappeared from television, eventually undergoing neck surgery. There is no word on when Strowman will be back in the ring.
Braun Strowman was recently in India doing promotional work for WWE.
