Big E Set For Huge Feud On WWE Return

A new report has revealed that Big E could be in line for a big feud when he’s ready to return from his broken neck that will see him reunited with his New Day teammates.

The New Day star has been out of action since March 2022 after suffering a broken neck during a match on SmackDown. The star suffered the injury after Ridge Holland attempted an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Big E on the outside of the ring but The New Day star didn’t rotate properly and instead landed hard on top of his head in one of WWE’s most frightening moments of recent years.

WRKD Wrestling has now reported that when Big E is ready to return – along with Kofi Kingston – The New Day could be set for a big feud with Imperium with the former WWE Champion and Intercontinental Champion Gunther being the cornerstone of the rivalry:

“Despite a loss to Gunther on #Smackdown, one long term backstage pitch has seen Xavier Woods and a fully healed Big E and Kofi Kingston feuding with Imperium once the New Day are ready to return. The centerpiece for the feud would be Big E facing Gunther.”

While it remains uncertain when the big star will return to action, the star recently gave an update on his condition after undergoing his one-year scan.
