Bianca Belair To Defend Raw Women’s Title At Extreme Rules
The rivalry between Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Bayley will surely escalate when they tangle for the title at Extreme Rules.
Bayley has been a thorn in the side of Bianca Belair ever since The Role Model returned to WWE following over a year out of action at SummerSlam. Bayley made her entrance after Belair had successfully defended her title against Becky Lynch and she didn’t come alone. Dakota Kai and IYO SKY joined the Bayley and the trio has since become known collectively as Damage CTRL.
Bayley picked up a pinfall victory over Bianca Belair at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales when the stars met as part of a six-women tag team match that saw Bayley team with SKY and Kai while Belair was joined in battle by Alexa Bliss and Asuka.
Belair was challenged by Bayley for a championship match at Extreme Rules after she picked up a win over Bliss on the previous week’s episode of Raw and now that match is official, with an added stipulation.
On Raw in Edmonton, Alberta, Bayley confronted Bianca Belair and told her she wanted to face off in a Ladder Match for the gold. The EST of WWE gladly accepted that challenge and the match is now set for the 8th of October when WWE goes extreme.
