Bianca Belair Reacts To Royal Rumble Moment With Jade Cargill
Bianca Belair loved the crowd reaction during the Women’s Royal Rumble match when she had a bit of a showdown with Jade Cargill.
The Women’s Royal Rumble match at Tropicana Field opened the PLE with plenty of surprise entrants featuring debuts, returns from injury and NXT stars like Tiffany Stratton.
Jade Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut in the Women’s Rumble match. Cargill signed with WWE in September 2023 after spending about two years in AEW and even though she appeared on television before the Royal Rumble, the Rumble is when Cargill made her in-ring debut. Cargill was impressive right away as she eliminated the dominant Nia Jax quickly.
During the Rumble match, Cargill also had a memorable moment as she did a press slam to Becky Lynch while former WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair also did a press slam to Liv Morgan. After hitting their press slams, Belair and Cargill teased a fight but were attacked by Bayley and Stratton to stop that.
Bianca Belair won the 2021 Royal Rumble, but she wasn’t able to find the same success during this year’s event, but she did make it to the final five. Cargill, meanwhile, made it to the final three.
In an interview with Brad Gilmore, Bianca Belair talked about the crowd’s reaction to her moment with Jade Cargill and how exciting it was.
“I was very excited about the Royal Rumble. Very excited about her coming in and actually debuting, and for the world to see what she can do. But I was even more excited about us being able to stand in that ring. We stood there, and we didn’t say anything, we didn’t do anything, and the crowd erupted.”
“I think that just shows the potential that this has, whether it’s us tagging together, whether it’s us going up against each other in a singles match. People just want to see us in the ring together, imagining it just automatically happens.”
“So I think that we’re gonna go in there, and we’re gonna throw it down, regardless if we’re working together, regardless if we’re going up against each other. But the possibilities are endless. That’s what’s amazing about WWE.”
“I’m just so happy that Jade is here. I think she’s gonna do amazing things. She has the look, she has the charisma, she has that it factor. All she needed was to be on the grandest stage of them all, which is WWE. So I’m just excited that I get to make some magic with here.”
It is not yet known if WWE will have Belair face Cargill in an upcoming match or perhaps they will become a tag team that may be difficult for any team to beat.
