Major Update On Bianca Belair Amid Long WWE Absence
Unfortunate news for Bianca Belair’s fans.
Bianca Belair’s last WWE match was at WrestleMania 41 on April 7, 2025, where she battled IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. During this triple threat bout, she suffered a gnarly finger injury as she broke her finger in three places. She’s been sidelined ever since, and her absence from the ring has lasted nearly seven months.
Since then, she’s been on the shelf recovering from her broken fingers, and the process has been way longer than anyone hoped. WWE had plans to bring her back for storylines with Naomi and Jade Cargill the past summer, but her recovery kept getting pushed back. Even now, there’s no set date for her return. Recent reports say that Belair’s injury was far worse than initially expected, and WWE doctors haven’t cleared her to wrestle yet.
WON’s Dave Meltzer said, “She’s been out since WrestleMania with broken fingers, so that injury must have been far worse than usual broken fingers that people often work on and would usually be, even with surgery, only a couple of months.”
Bianca Belair Still Not Cleared To Wrestle
Fightful Select recently confirmed that there’s still no concrete timeline for Belair’s comeback. WWE is being careful, and sources say her absence could last even longer if she doesn’t heal up soon. The report also mentioned that she was in Utah for Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1; it’s not sure if she was backstage for the show or not.
During her break, Bianca Belair hasn’t totally vanished. She popped up as a special guest referee at July’s Evolution PLE and has been active on social media, showing off new looks, keeping fans hyped. There were rumors she’d make a SummerSlam comeback, but that came and went without a return.
