Beth Phoenix Discusses Her Plans For WrestleMania 39
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix has indicated her plans for WrestleMania 39 and confirms she’ll be at the event but doesn’t know yet in what capacity.
Beth Phoenix returned to the ring for the first time in over a year when she teamed up with her husband Edge to defeat The Judgment Day duo of Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, The Glamazon discussed the possibility of donning her boots once again at WrestleMania 39 in what would be her first bout on The Grandest Stage of Them All since 2019:
“I’ll be at WrestleMania. I’m sure Adam [Edge] will be factored and featured in. I’ll be there to enjoy. Whatever it is, I can say with all my heart, he and I don’t look too far ahead. We don’t have any plans, ‘this is going to be the retirement.’ We’re just taking it one day at a time. When these little opportunities pop up, we’re just like, ‘hell yeah.'”
“We don’t know what tomorrow brings and our kids are old enough now that they can process mom and dad squeezing this for every last drop. That’s fun. It’s been really fun to do this as a family. They’re in elementary school, so the kids know what our jobs are and they’re watching the match.”
Edge is currently not scheduled for a match at WrestleMania 39 but as his issues with Finn Balor seem to be continuing there could be a space on the card for those two men to go one-on-one.
