Ben Affleck Expresses Interest In Playing Ric Flair In A Movie
The name Ric Flair was mentioned during a discussion, which led to interesting comments from Ben Affleck about the wrestling legend.
As one of the most famous professional wrestlers ever, Ric Flair has led an exciting life in the spotlight for the past 50 years.
While Ric Flair had a lot of success in the ring as a 16-time World Champion who reached legendary status, he also lived a hard life full of partying, which Flair isn’t shy about bragging about.
That lifestyle also hurt Flair’s personal life, as he has been divorced four times and has had other relationships ruined. Since Flair’s life story is so interesting, it could likely be made into a movie and be very entertaining.
During an appearance on This Past Weekend w/Theo Von podcast, Oscar-winning actor-director Ben Affleck talked about wearing a blonde wig for his role in The Last Duel. When Von heard that, he mentioned Flair’s famous blonde hair, which led to an interesting discussion.
Affleck: “I did a movie where I had a very blonde wig.”
Von: “What, were you Ric Flair or something?”
Affleck: “I wish I was Ric Flair, that would be spectacular, I’d love to play Flair.”
The Rock’s Production Company Is Working On A Ric Flair Movie
In February 2024, it was reported that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions company was working on a Ric Flair biopic. At the time, The Rock explained why a film was being made about “The Nature Boy” Flair. The Rock issued this statement about the film.
