Becky Lynch Tips WWE Legend To Make Comeback

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch thinks one of WWE’s biggest names will be back.

In early 2023, Becky Lynch found herself teaming with Trish Stratus, and the pair shared the ring at WrestleMania, joining forces with Lita to take on Damage CTRL. However, in the weeks after the event, Stratus turned heel, attacking Lynch and setting into motion a feud that ran until September.

Things came to a head at Payback where The Man defeated Stratus in a Steel Cage match which was widely praised.

Appearing on the Cheap Heat podcast, Lynch was asked about the match and hailed it as one of her favourites.

“I love that match. That’s gonna go down as one of my favorite matches. One of the matches that I’m most proud of. I love that match. I felt very in it the whole time too. I think that’s how I measure how good a match is, is how present I feel in it because you know, sometimes you’re thinking about things because you have to think about a lot.

It’s easier to kind of get lost in the present tense of a match when it’s on pay-per-view because you’re not so beholden to advertisements and things like that. You have more freedom in that because usually you have to be thinking about break spots. You have to be thinking about going off air if you’re in the main event on a TV show.

With pay-per-view you get that freedom to breathe and enjoy and be present. That’s one of those matches where I really felt in it. I really enjoyed it the whole time.”

When host Peter Rosenberg said he hopes it’s not the last fans have seen of Stratus, Lynch revealed she thinks her rival will be back.

“I don’t think so, I think she wants to come back again.”

Becky Lynch Buries The Hatchet With Charlotte Flair

During the same interview, Becky Lynch discussed her real-life issues with Charlotte Flair. The pair had been incredibly close friends for years before the relationship exploded in a very public fashion.

In more recent times, Lynch and Flair have patched things up. The Man revealed she breaks down their relationship in her new book, but felt life was too short to hold on to the animosity between them.
