Becky Lynch Reacts To Extreme Rules Match Win At NXT No Mercy
Becky Lynch has commented on her victory at WWE NXT No Mercy, which also saw “The Man” receive stitches after the match.
The main event of NXT No Mercy in Bakersfield, California saw Becky Lynch defend the NXT Women’s Title against Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules Match.
It was one of the better NXT matches of the year as the two men brawled all over the ringside area and also fought into the crowd as well. They broke tables, there was a barbed wire bat used in the match, steel chairs, and even a pile of dolls.
Stratton tried to hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever onto Lynch, but Lynch managed to get out of the way. Lynch was able to recover and hit a Manhandle Slam onto a pile of steel chairs. Lynch pulled Stratton off the chairs and covered her for the pinfall in a match that went just over 20 minutes.
After the match, it was revealed that Lynch suffered a laceration on her right arm and needed 11 stitches.
Becky Lynch pays respect to Tiffany Stratton after the match
After the show, Becky Lynch went on Instagram to pay respect to her opponent Stratton while also posting a photo of the laceration on her arm. If you scroll through the photos, you will see the nasty gash on Lynch’s arm.
NbeXT was rocking tonight.
The Man brought @tiffanywwe to the main event but she brought it to The Man. Respect. It wasn’t Tiffy time this time. But it will be again.
The world tour continues.
Stitches and all – last slide is my arm 🤢
Shout out to @iamhuntley for drawing this shirt.
