Bayley Dumped By Boyfriend Because Of Ex-WWE Star

Bayley has revealed that she was once dumped by a boyfriend because of her obsession with a legendary WWE star.

We all have our passions in life, but when Bayley met with her WWE hero, it left her high school sweetheart feeling second best.

Matt Hardy was infamously released by WWE in April 2005 after he went public with his then-girlfriend Lita’s affair with Edge. That gave Hardy the chance to return to the independent scene while WWE fans seethed with anger at how the company had treated him.

In July, Hardy was back in the fold with WWE, leading to an epic feud with Edge that culminated in a brutal and bloody war. But little did he know that Hardy’s sojourn outside of WWE had crushed love’s young dream for a future WWE star.

Bayley Dumped Over Matt Hardy Obsession

Speaking to The Undertaker and Michelle McCool on the Six Feet Under podcast, Bayley revealed that a meeting with Matt Hardy left her boyfriend feeling more than a bit put out:

I once dated in high school and this was when Matt Hardy had got released and he ended up working the home promotion I was training at so he was on the show. The Hardys were like my favourites you know, so I got to meet him and it was all I talked about. I was 15 years old, like I’m not a 10 year old kid.

It was all I was talking about to this guy and I didn’t even realise it and he ended up dumping me because he was like, “Dude, all you talk about is Matt Hardy” and I was so embarrassed. When I think about it, it was super embarrassing.
