Baron Corbin’s WWE Career Ends, Other Stars Released

WWE Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin announced his time with WWE has come to an end while Tegan Nox & Indi Hartwell have been released.

The 12-year WWE career of Baron Corbin has come to an end. The former WWE King of the Ring announced the news on social media.

That’s all she wrote folks.

It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me.

It has been reported by Fightful Select that Corbin’s WWE contract was set to expire soon and he would not be offered a new deal.

During his WWE career, Corbin worked his way from being an attraction in NXT who won matches quickly to somebody who found success on the WWE main roster.

That main roster run saw Corbin with the United States Title once while also winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2017. In addition to that, Corbin also won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2016 and the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.

One of Baron Corbin’s greatest accomplishments is that he was the guy who retired the great Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 as well.

In his final NXT run, Corbin was a NXT Tag Team Champion with Bron Breakker. Since going back to the main roster, Corbin was paired up with Apollo Crews as a veteran tag team, but they were only used sparingly.

WWE Has Released Indi Hartwell And Tegan Nox

In addition to Corbin, WWE has also released Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that both women will be free agents in 90 days, which is the norm for main roster superstars when they are released.

Indi Hartwell was on the Smackdown brand as an ally of Candice LeRae. The duo were on Raw before that. Hartwell has been part of WWE since 2019 and is a former NXT Women’s Champion as well as a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with LeRae.

Tegan Nox started with WWE in 2017, was released in the summer of 2021 and brought back in December 2022. Nox overcame multiple knee injuries in her career, but she was only used sparingly this year.

As of this writing, it is being reported that just Corbin, Hartwell and Nox are leaving the company. According to PWInsider, there will not be other releases at this time.
