Banged Up WWE Raw Star Taken Off The Road

One of WWE Raw’s most beloved stars is currently out of action.

During the December 18th episode of Raw, fans were quick to notice that Kofi Kingston appeared without his tag team partner Xavier Woods. On the show, Kingston had some fun as Santa Claus, but he was flying solo throughout.

It’s now been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that Woods is said to be “banged up” and has been taken off the road to give him a chance to recover. The report adds there’s no word on the exact nature of the issue.

Woods’ New Day teammate Big E remains out of action after suffering a broken neck back in March 2022. Speaking back in November, Big E revealed there’s still “no timeline” for a return to the ring, while he’s been advised to never wrestle again.

Over on SmackDown, it’s been confirmed that Charlotte Flair will miss nine months of action with a serious knee injury — crucially ruling her out of WrestleMania 40.

Xavier Woods was last in action on the November 27th episode of Raw, where he and Kofi Kingston took part in tag team turmoil. The former King of the Ring has wrestled sparingly since October, only stepping into the ring twice in November.
