Austin Theory Dismisses WWE WrestleMania Rumour
Austin Theory is still laughing at idiots on the internet.
At WrestleMania 40, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a wild six-team Ladder Match. However, before the event it was reported WWE was discussing removing them from the match, despite the fact they’d just qualified on SmackDown.
Despite the report, no further details came to light, and A-Town Down entered the match as planned.
Appearing on the Babyfaces podcast, Theory scoffed at the speculation.
“I didn’t see it, but I heard a lot about it. I was like, ‘Wow, somebody just wakes up and types something on the internet and everybody believes it.’ I love it because it explains that there is just a bunch of idiots out there.
When it comes to me and Grayson Waller, there was no way we weren’t going to be in the tag team ladder match. We’re the best team, all-around, on both rosters. Completely,”
