MJF Recalls Winning An Indie Match After S**tting Himself

Everyone has little accidents sometimes including MJF, although the AEW World Champion recently bragged about how he won a match on the independents despite it…

Appearing alongside Adam Cole on the latest Hot Ones’ Truth Or Dab, Friedman admitted that he once pooped himself during an indie match against Ace Romero but despite it, he still managed to come out on top of the bout!

“I’ve shat myself in the ring. Guys name was Ace Romero. So what happened was, he was coming off the the top rope, brother hit me with a splash and I thought I took a big enough log before the match, clearly I didn’t finish the job. Luckily, I was wearing black trunks so nobody noticed and it was a multi-man match, so when he landed on me, immediately shit myself and within that moment I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to roll out.’ So I rolled out, kind of stayed low for a little bit and waited for my moment to strike, still won the match with a full diaper. [laughs] That’s why I’m a world champion, didn’t happen by accident.”

MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Cole in the main event of All In: London. Beforehand, however, the two will team up to compete on the show’s Buy-In to challenge Aussie Open for the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

During a live edition of his Hall of Fame podcast last night, Booker T found out about the passing of WWE star Bray Wyatt as the news broke.

The WWE Hall of Famer and his co-host Brad Gilmore were just a few minutes into the latest edition of their podcast when Triple H announced the tragic news of Bray Wyatt’s passing at just 36 years old via his official X account.

Gilmore quickly noticed the tweet and read it live on the air, leaving Booker at a loss for words. The two took a quick break to recover before the two spoke about the former WWE champion’s family and recent history.

Following this week’s edition of NXT, Big E and Hayes took part in a photoshoot backstage with their respective NXT Championship belts. Hayes posted the resulting photo on X, leaving fans clamoring for a match between the two.

Now Big E has given his own thoughts on the photo and Hayes himself as a performer. Quoting Hayes’ post on X, the former WWE Champion claims Hayes will be involved in main roster main events and hold world titles in the near future

AEW Remove Reference To Cash Wheeler's Arrest From Dynamite

FTR Dax Harwood Cash Wheeler

AEW seemingly removed a reference to Cash Wheeler’s arrest for aggravated assault with a firearm from AEW Dynamite earlier this week.

On the August 23rd edition of Dynamite, FTR and The Young Bucks appeared in a sitdown interview with Renee Paquette ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship bout at AEW All In: London this weekend – five days on from Wheeler’s arrest.

Later, however, the company posted the segment to social media and eagle-eyed fans noticed new parts of the interview that were seemingly cut from the version that was broadcast on TBS. FTR’s Dax Harwood quoted the post and said it was “the version they didn’t want you to see.”

In it, FTR have a considerably longer response to The Young Bucks towards the end of the segment and Cash Wheeler makes a direct reference to his current legal troubles, stating “I don’t know what’s next for me.”

Escobar was originally meant to face Austin Theory for the United States Championship but was attacked backstage by the champion before the bout and seemingly suffered an injury to his knee. Rey Mysterio replaced his Lucha World Order ally and dethroned Theory.

Speaking to The Babyfaces Podcast, Escobar revealed the news but did not give a timeframe for his return to the ring.

“I’m not cleared to compete right now as it is, because of Austin Theory, but trust me, my mind, my heart are strong. I’m a strong willed person. I will comeback. When I comeback, I will come back full steam.”

Jack Perry making his entrance with the FTW Championship

Jack Perry received a warning from AEW management about using divisive language during a promo on AEW programming.

During the latest edition of Hey! (EW), the former Jungle Boy revealed that during his feud with Christian Cage he was warned to never use a particular promo line ever again. The line in question was, “You are the biggest p*ssy I have met in my entire life.”

“Literally that line exposed all the p*ssies back here, because I got in so much trouble about that word. They’re emailing me saying, ‘Please don’t ever say that again.’”

In response to the warning, Perry claims he wanted to release with “p*ssy” on it in protest but he was unable to. Perry is set to compete at AEW All In: London this weekend where he’ll defend his FTW Championship against HOOK.

Windham Rotunda, more commonly known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt, has passed away. He was just 36 years old.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H announced the tragic news on X last night, having been informed by Rotunda’s father Mike. Rotunda’s family later disclosed, through Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, that the star suffered a heart attack yesterday and subsequently passed away. He had been battling exacerbated heart issues after contracting COVID-19 earlier this year.

Tributes have poured in from across the wrestling world to the former WWE Champion from the likes of Alexa Bliss, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Big E and more. Rival promotions such as AEW and IMPACT also paid tribute to the late star on social media.
