Asuka Gets Last Laugh After Big Rhea Ripley Win
Rhea Ripley might have one big on WWE Raw, but Asuka continues to be one step ahead.
For months, tension built between IYO SKY and the Kabuki Warriors as Asuka especially took great issue with SKY’s friendship with Rhea Ripley. Eventually, things hit their boiling point as Asuka viciously betrayed IYO SKY, spraying her in the face with poison mist.
IYO SKY was heartbroken at being stabbed in the back, but found Ripley standing by her side, leading to a huge tag team match taking place at Crown Jewel.
Ultimately, the team dubbed “RHIYO” picked up the win when Ripley dropped Kairi Sane with Riptide and SKY hit her Over The Moonsault. After the show, Rhea Ripley could only laugh as WWE fans launched into an expletive-laden chant towards the Empress of Tomorrow.
Rhea Ripley Wins But Asuka Gets The Last Laugh
On the October 13th edition of Raw, Asuka was out for revenge and delivered a vicious slap to Sane and told her she’d be facing Ripley again and demanded that she make up for dishonouring her by losing at Crown Jewel. The fans in attendance let Asuka know what they thought of her again with “F*ck you Asuka” chants, causing Netflix to censor the audio.
Asuka couldn’t help but try to get involved in the bout, but was taken out by IYO SKY. Ripley then planted Sane with the Riptide to win the match. After the bout, Asuka tried to attack again and managed to deliver a vicious DDT to Ripley on the announce table after Sane nailed The Eradicator with a kendo stick.
Raw also saw the Aussie crowd demand that Seth Rollins plant a kiss on Paul Heyman, but did the World Heavyweight Champion listen to them?
