Major Announcement On ROH Tag Team Title (SPOILER)

Mark Briscoe Jay Briscoe ROH Tag Team Champions

The future of the ROH Tag Team Championship is clearer following an announcement that will air on the March 10th edition of AEW Rampage.

The current Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions are The Briscoes who won the title for the thirteenth time in their career at December 2022’s Final Battle from Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR.

Tragedy struck in January 2023, however, as Jay Briscoe was killed in a car crash at the age of just 38. Since then Mark Briscoe has continued his and his brother’s legacy in ROH as well as AEW and he recently teamed with the Lucha Bros on the pre-show to Revolution defeating Ari Daivari and The Varsity Athletes.

On Rampage which is yet to air, Mark Briscoe appeared in a segment where he discussed his late brother and the ROH Tag Team Championship that The Briscoe brothers made their own over the last two decades. It was then announced that a ‘Reach For The Sky’ – those being the opening words to The Briscoes’ theme music – would be held at ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31st to crown new champions.

Former AEW Tag Team Champions, the Lucha Bros of Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo were the first team announced for the match.
