Andrade El Idolo Pinpoints Moment He Was Injured
AEW star Andrade El Idolo recently gave confirmation that the injury that he suffered was a torn pectoral muscle, and that it happened during the six-man trios match that he took part in against The Elite (Kenny Omega & Nick and Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks).
TJR Wrestling reported earlier this week how Andrade El Idolo took to Instagram and revealed his torn pec injury, and had to go undergo surgery to repair it, which is the first operation that he’s ever experienced. Taking to Twitter, Andrade confirmed that he suffered his injury during the House of The Dragon edition of AEW Dynamite that took place on August 17, 2022, teaming up with Dragon Lee and Rush in a defeat to The Elite — Andrade El Idolo also noted that it happened at the beginning of the match.
Andrade El Idolo tweeted:
“THIS IS THE MATCH WHERE MY INJURY HAPPENED I LEAVE YOU PART OF THE MATCH. You can’t imagine in what movement we can get injured, it happened to me in the 6-man Suplex almost starting the match but I wanted to finish as a professional.”
