All 7 Huge Returns That Happened On WWE RAW

Tonight marked John Cena’s final appearance on WWE RAW as an in-ring competitor. This special episode of Monday Night RAW was hosted in one of the company’s most iconic venues, Madison Square Garden.

WWE left no stone unturned to make it a special episode and treated the fans to as many as seven returns on the show. Only Gunther’s return was advertised before the show as the Ring General returned to compete in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament.

He emerged victorious on his return as he beat out Je’von Evans. The tournament granted fans another shocking return as Dolph Ziggler was revealed to be Solo Sikoa’s mystery opponent. It marked Dolph’s first WWE appearance since leaving the promotion in 2023.

AJ Lee also made her return to the promotion at MSG as she helped Maxxine Dupri win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Two of the biggest wrestlers in the company, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, returned during the main event, to seemingly fill up the slots for the men’s Survivor Series match.

Two WWE stars returned during backstage segments

These five returns which have been listed till now were hard to miss as they were all involved in some action one way or another. However, two wrestlers appeared during backstage segments after several weeks.

One half of The New Day, Xavier Woods had taken a mental health break for the last few weeks but made a comeback on tonight’s episode. Another former tag team champion was seen in a blink-and-you miss segment.

Following her win over Becky Lynch, both Akira Tozawa and Otis came out to congratulate Maxxine Dupri’s title win. This marked Otis’ first appearance in almost a month as he last wrestled on the October 20th episode of RAW.
