Recently, The Phenomenal One took to social media to post a picture of an hourglass. This led fans to speculate that he will be retiring soon.

Furthermore, Styles’ current WWE contract is set to expire in February 2026, sometime after Royal Rumble.

AJ Styles’ former partner believes he will not hang up his boots

Recently, Karl Anderson appeared on Off The Ropes podcast, where he spoke about The Phenomenal One’s WWE future. According to Anderson, Styles will not hang up his boots and will continue doing the great work he is doing.

Knowing AJ Styles and knowing his competitive nature. I truly believe in my heart, and we don’t talk. And it’s not that we don’t speak a lot. It’s a quick, ‘I love you, I hope you’re doing good, buddy, I miss you,’ but I don’t think knowing AJ’s competitive nature. I don’t think he’s going to hang it up. I heard his contract ends in February, and who knows what the truth is to any of that, right?

I still think no matter whether it’s with WWE or not, which I think it’s going to continue being with WWE. I think Styles is happy where he’s at. I think AJ’s going to continue. I really believe that.

Fans desperately wanted a match between Styles and John Cena in the latter’s ongoing Farewell Tour, but that did not happen. However, Cena paid homage to AJ Styles by using his signature move.
