Jon Moxley is heading to New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Windy City Riot and it seems he now has the chance to win a major prize on that show.

Now NJPW has confirmed on social media that Tetsuya Naito will defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Jon Moxley at Windy City Riot but only if Naito is still champion by the time that match comes around:

BREAKING from Sapporo At today’s public IWGP World Heavyweight Championship contract signing, Tetsuya Naito stated that if he is still champion come April 12 he wants to defend the title in his scheduled singles match with Jon Moxley.

Jon Moxley Not The Only AEW Star Heading To NJPW In Chicago

Jack Perry tore up his AEW contract when he made his shocking NJPW debut. Now the man formerly known as Jungle Boy will make his in-ring NJPW debut at Windy City Riot. Given his involvement in the incident that saw CM Punk fired by AEW, Perry is sure to get an interesting reception from the Chicago crowd.

Eddie Kingston is also set to head up a team in a No DQ Riot Rules match that will see him face a team led by Gabe Kidd.
