AEW Worlds End: Women’s World Championship Decided In Hard-Hitting Battle
The all-babyface clash produced intense action at AEW Worlds End.
Both Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and challenger Jamie Hayter entered the match sharing mutual respect.
The two superstars even teamed up multiple times. Tensions came to the fore after Hayter hit accidentally Statlander with her signature move Hayterade during a tag team match before posing with Statlander’s title.
Kris Statlander Barely Survives At AEW Worlds End
Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter sized each other up in the early goings.
The Brit maintained the advantage there on, as they fought in and outside the ring briefly. Statlander regained the advantage, even hitting a package piledriver for a near pinfall.
The two powerhouses even traded vicious clotheslines, but did not secure a pinfall.
Statlander later took the action to the top of the turnbuckle, hitting a Fisherman’s Driver that saw Hayter land on the back of her neck. The referee checked on her and everything was seemingly well because the action resumed.
In the closing minutes, Hayter hit a Saturday Night Fever of her own for a near pinfall.
It was ultimately Kris Statlander
Both competitors left it all in the ring, but STILL standing tall as AEW Women’s World Champion is @callmekrisstat!
