AEW To Reportedly Introduce New Championship

AEW Tony Khan

AEW is looking at introducing a new championship soon.

The strap pertains to the women’s division, which currently includes the Women’s World Championship and the TBS Championship.

While both these belts are for singles competitors, there are no titles for tag teams.

According to BodySlam.net, the company manufactured belts for the women’s tag team division around one year ago.

Recently, AEW President Tony Khan also expressed his interest in introducing a tag team championship for female performers owing to the talent that the division possesses.

We have the best wrestlers, and I am interested in (AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles). I’m also trying to build the tag division I have right now. It is something I’m interested in doing, and it is realistic to see at some point.

In the past, wrestlers such as Saraya, Leila Grey, and Willow Nightingale have advocated for the introduction of women’s tag team belts in All Elite Wrestling.

There is no exact timeline as to when the championship will appear on TV.

AEW Reintroduces Casino Gauntlet Match

AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, All In: Texas, is one of the most anticipated events.

The company is doing everything in its power to get fans to buy tickets and fill out Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Tony Khan recently took to X to announce the return of a popular match format— the Casino Gauntlet Match.

At All In, both the men’s and women’s divisions will feature their respective matches, comprising multiple superstars whose names have yet to be confirmed.

The last time AEW held a Casino Gauntlet was in January.
