AEW Star Wins First Match After Lengthy Absence

Thunder Rosa Serena Deeb AEW

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa was finally back in action on Collision and she picked up a major victory.

Thunder Rosa surprised many when she returned to AEW TV on Collision to save Abadon from an attack at the hands of Skye Blue and Julia Hart. Although La Mera Mera had returned to the company to serve as a Spanish language announcer, it was the first time most fans saw her since Thunder Rosa was forced to relinquish the AEW Women’s Title due to injury in September 2022.

At the time a cloud was cast over Thunder Rosa with the likes of Toni Storm casting doubt on the validity of Thunder Rosa’s injury.

Thunder Rosa Wins On In-Ring AEW Return

On AEW Collision Thunder Rosa teamed with Abadon to face the spooky duo of Skye Blue and Julia Hart. In the end, Thunder Rosa picked up the pinfall win on Blue to win her first match in 500 days. Rosa had new entrance music for the match and made her way into the arena in a lowrider.

The last time Rosa competed was back in August 2022 when she teamed with Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida on an episode of the now-defunct Dark: Elevation.
