AEW Star Thinks Seth Rollins Deserves Better

According to one veteran, people have forgotten just how good Seth Rollins is.

Despite holding the World Heavyweight Championship, Seth Rollins has found himself on the outside looking in this WrestleMania season. His planned match with CM Punk fell through when the former AEW suffered a triceps injury, and now the power struggle between The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes has grabbed the headlines.

Things came to a head at the WrestleMania Kick-Off Event in Las Vegas where many fans felt Rollins was presented as ‘less than,’ and looked like the odd one out.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa gave her thoughts on the situation, explaining that recent events have taken away from Rollins’ character.

“They’ve been insulting him this whole entire time,” Rosa said on “Busted Open Radio.” “I just hope, I really do hope, that there’s a good payoff for both of them. As a performer, when you have to do certain things to make other people look good that will make your character diminish, it’s rough because you’re going to suffer a lot of criticism from the fans.”

Mickie James added that a lot of people have forgotten just how good Rollins is.

“I think people forget how damn good Seth is,” James said. “When he says something like he’s been here the whole time and he’s a workhorse and he’s always defending his championship and he’s always in these marquee matches he’s always going to have a killer match at every PPV he’s at including WrestleMania, obviously, and it felt a little minimized. I hope at the backend that he steps into that; that’s a real thing of going, ‘Hold on, I’m Seth freaking Rollins.'”

Seth Rollins Closing In On In-Ring Return

Despite suffering a torn MCL as well as a partially torn medial meniscus in January, Seth Rollins has revealed he’ll be back in the ring very soon. The World Champion said he’ll be ready for WrestleMania “no problem,” before confirming he hopes to wrestle in a “few weeks” after avoiding surgery.

It’s been announced that Seth Rollins will face the winner of Elimination Chamber at WrestleMania.
