AEW Star Teases Return After Two Years At Double Or Nothing

AEW Double Or Nothing could see Tay Melo return after two years.

Fans will remember that it was at the 2023 Double Or Nothing PPV that Melo announced her pregnancy with her partner and fellow wrestler Sammy Guevara.

Melo wrestled in Japan for STARDOM in early 2025 but has not yet made her presence felt in AEW. That’s apparently about to change.

During an interview with GLOBO, Melo spoke about her time away from the business and her excitement about wrestling next.

That day will be the “Double or Nothing” event again. It was the event where I announced Luna, and it will have been two years since that moment. Since it’s a new company, I’m the first fighter to have a baby. It would be a very special date. I’m looking forward to it.

The company has made no official statement or announcement of a surprise return in relation to Melo.

In the same interview, Tay Melo recounted the emotions she went through before announcing her pregnancy during a live pay-per-view.

We didn’t know how the fans would react, it was live. When we announced it on a poster before Sammy’s fight, the fans went crazy, the commentators were also surprised. I went from villain to darling.

Melo gave birth to a girl on November 28, 2023, whom the pair named Luna Guevara.
