AEW Star Reveals Why RUSH Chose To Stay
RUSH remains All Elite as he signed a new deal with AEW but now another talent in the company has revealed why he chose to stay.
It had been reported over recent weeks that RUSH’s contract with Tony Khan’s company was close to expiring. This led to talk that whilst AEW was interested in retaining him, WWE was also looking to offer a deal – although to match the money on the table from his current employer, he would need to be offered main roster money as the deal was worth far more than anyone in NXT’s salary.
However, RUSH put an end to all of the speculation about his future by confirming that he had signed a new deal to remain All Elite as he shared a video of himself and Tony Khan putting pen to paper.
Taking to social media, Jose The Assistant, who accompanies RUSH to the ring, revealed exactly why the star chose to stay exactly where he was and says there was never any real consideration for him to go elsewhere:
“RUSH re-signed with #AEWbecause of how much concern Tony showed for Rush’s wife and newborn. Family is important to Rush, seeing how much Tony cared is what solidified the deal. There were other offers, but NEVER any consideration to go, AEW cares, Tony cares about his people”

When Did RUSH Join AEW?
RUSH first competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring back in June 2022 as part of the Royal Rampage match and just a few short weeks later the former Ring of Honor World Champion was challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship although he was unsuccessful in that endeavour.
