AEW Star Legitimately Injured, Replaced On Dynamite
One AEW star missed out on Dynamite due to injury, and it seems they could be set to miss out on Blood & Guts as well.
Two huge Blood & Guts matches will take place on November 12th, with AEW’s female stars entering the double-ring cage match for the first time ever.
The men’s match will see Darby Allin team up with The Conglomeration to take on the Death Riders. The women’s match sees the Triangle of Madness join Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mercedes Mone face Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter, and Queen Aminata.
But one of those stars looks set to miss out.
Queen Aminata Pulled From AEW Match
Tony Khan revealed on social media before the November 5th edition of Dynamite that Queen Aminata had to be pulled from her planned Dynamite match with Megan Bayne. It was implied that an injury to Aminata would mean she’d miss out on Blood & Guts as well. Mina Shirakawa replaced Aminata on Dynamite to face Bayne in an Advantage Battle Best of 3 match.
Megan Bayne picked up the win over Shirakawa, meaning that her Blood & Guts team is now one victory away from having the ongoing advantage for the huge match.
It was a better night for Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale on Dynamite as they moved on to the semi-final of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament at the expense of Athena and Mercedes Mone.
