AEW Star Finally Leaves Company
An AEW star has left the company three months after first expressing a desire to leave.
On May 2nd, speculation swirled on social media after Ethan Page was removed from the AEW roster list. The popular star hasn’t wrestled for AEW or Ring of Honor since February, so the latest development kickstarted speculation that he’d left the company.
As the uncertainty grew, it was reported by Fightful Select that Page was no longer with the promotion. The report notes that Page was actually looking to leave as far back as February, while a planned feud with ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher was delayed due to visa issues for the Aussie star.
Ethan Page signed with the Tony Khan-led company back in March 2021.
Jeff Hardy Still With AEW
While Ethan Page might have finally secured his exit, Jeff Hardy remains under AEW contract — at least for the time being. Hardy hasn’t wrestled since breaking his nose during a match with Sammy Guevara back in February.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that his contract expires much sooner than first believed, sparking rumours he could follow his brother Matt out of the company.
However, after revealing that Jeff is now cleared to return to the ring, Matt confirmed his brother is still All Elite.
